Monaco - what could be more glamorous? And the jewel in Monaco's
sporting crown is surely the Monaco Grand Prix - fast cars, the
sparkling ocean, luxury yachts, gorgeous girls, top
celebrities ... and of course, fantastic food.
In May 2002, Chef Laurent was the guest chef for the McLaren
Mercedes-Benz team.
Chef
Laurent delighted over one hundred people aboard the Silver Sea
cruise ship docked in the legendary Port of Monaco with his fabulous
buffet which included blackened shrimp, jambalaya and roasted pig
stuffed with fennel.
The
following evening, Chef Laurent created a stunning five-course
dinner.
Fuelled by such fabulous food, the McLaren team went on the victory
in Sunday's race - Scotland's David Coulthard being the winner.
