These Skullcandy Cassette Wireless on ear headphones can work wired or wireless. A full charge for wireless takes around four hours, plugged in with the included cord. These headphones have a great fit for your ears and have additional padding at the top for comfort on your head, as well on the ear pieces. The headphones are easy to pair with devices and the buttons on the side of the headphones are discreet yet fully functional. The sound quality on these headphones is wonderful. They do not claim to be noise cancelling but the sound that you hear is what is coming through from your device and it is very clear. *I wear these while mowing the lawn and can only hear my music*

I have to admit, I don’t usually buy over ear headphones. My go to are the Skullcandy ear buds. I was blown away from y these headphones!! The sound quality is AMAZING, the bluetooth connects perfectly, and the best part: wireless! I have never owned wireless over ear headphones and wasn’t sure what to expect but I am blown away. The instructions for use were so easy to follow and I was ready to go in like 5 minutes. Thanks Skullcandy for always being so consistent. Highly recommended!!

The connection is very stable. Inside a 2000 square foot 2-story home, this doesn’t cut out or become static-y. Even in the yard of another 1000-2000 sq ft, it has some impressive reachability with stable connection. The sound quality is really good. Although I am not as picky with sound quality, I can still appreciate the fine musical elements that come through in a noise-reduced headphone. The cupped on-ear headphones does a really good job keeping noise out and letting all the subtle tones and sounds in music come in. However, it’s noise-reduced; not really noise-cancelling. So while I have this on with the volume on low, I’d still be able to hear outside noises.

The mic for calls are quite clear. There’s nothing to complain about in this aspect. In fact, everything about it is pretty neat. Only 3 buttons (easy to feel for), and each does pretty straight-forward commands. Pause, play, forward, backwards, volume up, volume down, power on, and power off. In addition, if you press the power button 2x, you can activate the voice control on the device that you have connected to, which is GREAT. So far, the voice control works perfectly on the iPhones. It takes the command over the mic on the headphones (I say this, because there are still some devices that even though has voice control button action, only takes in voice commands through the original device’s mic, which is confusing).

Only thing I really have any complaint over is that the lowest sound setting on this earphone is just not low enough. That’s sort of a problem for me when I need to be able to have my private music going on in my head, but still be able to monitor the outside noise around me. I love the loud on this, but the low is not as controllable as I’d like it to be.

Overall, I really like these earphones. It folds up really nicely for storing. There’s no cables and yet Bluetooth connection is incredibly stable, even at far distances, which I love love love! It feels so nice and it’s so comfortable, that I had this on one day while doing the dishes and didn’t even realize I had it on. And no one around me was even distracted by me playing my personal music. It’s great! I haven’t taken this out for a walk in the park yet though, because I am still not used to wearing headphones out in public. I’m not part of the younger crowd nor the very old generation (yet).

Headset sticks with Skullcandy quality. Nice and light but it doesn’t feel cheap. The sound quality is good for this range of headphone with awesome battery life. Easy to charge and come with 3.5mm adapter wire. Earcups are soft and supple, good for long wear.

Man! Where to start?! You can actually feel the bass these produce! I havent had to charge these once since I recieved them and did initial charge. The comfort level is superb! I wear these for 2-3 hours on occasion depending how far i make it on zombies lol. People can hear me clearly on the internal mic, and the outside world, while not silenced, is pleasantly baffled to an un-interuptable bliss! Again, these are stellar!!!!!!!!!!! The price is absolutely phenomenal! Way to Go SkullCandy!

These Bluetooth headphones have a 22 hour battery! They also have a aux plug if you want to listen to them on a plane. They also have a rapid charge feature which is super great when you go to use them and they are dead! I would highly recommend these headphones! They’re really great!!

This is now my go-to headphone for working out. Vocals are clear, treble is a little tuned-up and has a “boomy” bass – which I like to give me that boost when during workout. Volume is great; since it is an on-ear headphone, it is not entirely noise cancelling. The thick and soft padding makes it comfortable for prolonged use. It is not snug but it fits just right not to fall off when running and on the move.

There 3 buttons on the side lets you play, pause, adjust volume, skip, back and answer a call (yes, it has a microphone). You have the option to connect via Bluetooth or use the provided aux cable for wired playing – I find this helpful when I do not have time to charge and it’s running low on battery.

It is adjustable and fits my head quite nicely. It is also collapsible which makes it travel friendly, however, I wish it came with a travel pouch. The plastic material is sturdy enough for normal use.

These are decent headphones. The directions leave a lot to be desired and I had to google about charging. They are plenty loud but the sound can be distant sometimes. Overall I like that they are wireless, and stay put on your head. Sound quality is decent enough, especially for being wireless at this price point. The buttons are super easy to use to control volume and on/off. Would Recommend.

I had the opportunity to try Skullcandy Cassette Wireless On-Ear Headphones during my workouts and various leisure indoor/outdoor activities. These headphones are super basic in design, featuring only three simple function buttons, an adjustable frame and the headphone cushions/speakers. Simply push/pull for a comfortable fit. Skullcandy Wireless On-Ear Headphones are extremely lightweight; so much so that coupled with design simplicity, I initially doubted their ability to provide adequate sound. Fast forward (pun intended) to powering these headphones up, and boy were my initial assumptions incorrect. I was, and still am absolutely amazed by how beautiful and clear the sound quality put out by this simple set of wireless headphones is, even through my vigorous workouts, cleaning, outdoor background noise, etc. I love the ease of pairing these Skullcandy Cassette Wireless Headphones, as it is as simple as a long-hold button push. I have successfully paired these headphones with my cell phone and treadmill interface. The volume range is really pleasing, and I find sound quality to be crisp, with minimal distortion, even at louder volumes. Most importantly, these headphones are just all-around well-fitting and comfortable, even with long wear. This product comes with an auxiliary connection and USB charge adapter. A single charge typically lasts me 2 days, when using the headphones off and on for several hours. I am happy with the location of the function buttons, and have had no issues adjusting volume, pausing, skipping tracks, etc., even while in motion. I also really like how these headphones are collapsible for convenient storage. There is always that saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover.” I am totally floored by how something so simple could absolutely blow my mind. My Skullcandy Wireless Cassette On-Ear Headphones come with me everywhere now! I can’t recommend this product enough!

Alright, so some of the pros: these are lightweight, cute, they are foldable, they are wireless which is a huge plus, they charge quickly, and the charge lasts a while.
The cons: They are not very good noise canceling headphones, also if you turn them up loud people around you can hear everything, the mic on these is not the best, I spoke to several people and none of them could hear me well, they do not seem very durable, so I do not count on them lasting forever.
So with all of that being said, I use my headphones for working from home and people have to be able to hear me with clarity, so these do not work for me for what I intended to use them for. If you just need headphones to listen to music, videos, games, and the mic is not important, the price of $30 would be perfect for a wireless headset. If a mic is needed for your day to day use, I would say to go with a different set of headphones.

This Skullcandy Cassette Wireless BT On-Ear Headphone with Mic in Black is a cool headphone to have. I usually use earpod headphones because it is lightweight, subtle (does not draw too much attention), and easy to put away. But I decided to try these headphones out. I actually initially got these because I wanted tight/sturdy headphones to wear while running/working out. These headphones are probably not a good idea for that, but I have decided to use it for other purposes. The cool feature about this headphone is that Skullcandy’s Cassette Wireless On-Ear Headphone offers Bluetooth, which means it can be wireless on-ear headphones. It also comes with the wire in case you want to use the wire and save battery. According to the product description, the wireless headphone can last up to 22 hours of battery life (comes with an USB charging cable). These wireless headphones will offer great convenience, especially if you’re an editor (edit videos), and/or like to walk around the house and listen to music. The only major part that I do not really like about these headphones is that (note: if volume is medium/high) other people will be able to hear what you are listening to. As a result, I don’t really intent to use these headphones outdoors. I plan to just use it at home.

These headphones are fantastic! They’re very easy to use. My phone connected to it right away with zero issues which is a huge relief. They are also very comfortable and easy to use the buttons to lower volume etc. They have a very nice look to them and seem to be pretty durable as well. The quality seems to be very good. I also like the fact that it comes with a wire to connect to a device if Bluetooth isn’t available. Overall I really like these headphones. I actually own the same ones but wired and my daughter uses it for school every day. Good quality and I will continue to stick by this brand because they work.

I prefer over the head headphones more than I do ones that actually go into your ear. With that being said some of the over the head ones are uncomfortable as well. Thankfully these are not. On the top that rests onto your head there is a cushion so they don’t dig into your head and the ear phone parts are super soft and cushy. They fold up to become more portable which is good for me because it makes them easier to throw into my bag. It comes with an AUX cord that you can use if you don’t want to use bluetooth or if the battery is low you can instead use the AUX cord. It also comes with the charging cable for the headphones. There are 3 buttons on one side and they have different functions depending on how many times you press a certain button. You can power on, power off, play/pause, volume up, volume down, track forward, track back, answer/end and activate assistant using the buttons depending on how many times you press them like I mentioned before. The sound is very good and clear compared to a lot of other headphones I’ve had. Overall definitely pleased with them. The battery doesn’t drain super quick either.

If you’re looking for good budget friendly headphones I would give these a try. The package they came in looks and feels like a premium product. The bass is really heavy almost gets distorted on some songs. At a glance I thought these headphones were for a child but did more research and found out them are for “on ear” listening. They connected immediately to my android phone and had 80 percent battery remaining out of the box. They don’t state being noise cancelling but I had no problem vacuuming my house with them on and still able to hear my music loud and clearly. I think its priced just right. I like them alot!

The AirPods I have hurt my ears after a while plus I don’t like the feeling of putting something into my ear so these are much better. The fact that there Bluetooth compatible helps to hook them up to my chromebook and answer calls when I work from home.

  16. Jessb

The battery life and quick charge time for these Bluetooth headphones is really great. They fit perfectly and don’t slip offf, unlike most other brands I’ve tried in the best. I appreciate how they found for easy storage. So far these are the best Bluetooth headphones I’ve used.

I have recently recieved these awesome “Skullcandy Cassette Wireless BT On-Ear Headphones with Mic” from the Walmart sparks program in exchange for my honest review. I was so happy to get these bad boys because let me tell you, they are worth it. The noise cancelling is great and I can actually enjoy my music without interruptions. Pairing is easy as can be, all you need to do is turn your bluetooth on from your phone, hold the power button on the headset until it powers on and then your phone should automatically connect. It also comes with instructions for how to skip a song, reverse or pause your music. It is easy setup and also a very comfortable fit as well. The headphones are pretty comfy and can even collapse to store in a bag or purse while travelling. I haven’t really tried the call feature much but from what I did try it seems pretty seamless and functional. I’m not a big fan of picking up phone calls through a headset anyway and I would rather use these headphones for music only. I believe in some phones there is an option to set it for only media instead of allowing calls through your headset but this headset functions well with both options available. I honestly think this was a great product and would definitely recommend it to others.

I received these headphones in exchange for my honest review. Right out of the box, these headphones were charged and worked right away. I simply had to push a button on the side for it to pair with my iPhone. The volume control is easy—it’s right on the aide. The ear muffs are comfortable and soft. The size of the headphone size is adjustable. There is a small amount of padding on the top of your head, but in my opinion, not enough. It gets a little uncomfortable after wearing for a while. The earphones fold up so that they can be stored with a smaller footprint. Overall, these work well, but I have never used another pair of Bluetooth headphones that I can compare them against.

  19. MomOf6

We did Initially have problems getting the Bluetooth to connect, but did get it figured out eventually. The instructions were only slightly helpful. However the sound quality and comfort of these are amazing! Phone calls come through loud and clear for both parties. I leave them hanging in the work are for our kids to use with their remote learning classes. Definitely helps drown out background noise so they can focus.

This bluetooth headphone set is easy to use, and sounds quite decent for an inexpensive headset. It is simple to take calls with the built in headphone. Switching the source device: press the minus and plus buttons at the same time, super simple and works great! The headset is comfortable for shorter periods of time. This is a great product for taking along in a purse or backpack so you have music or podcasts where ever you go. The sides fold in for smaller storing spaces. Easy to charge because it is charged with phone charger usb!
